Ben Gordon Center The Living Room: An acute crisis respite program for adults, The Living Room* is a safe, comfortable, non-clinical space for individuals experiencing overwhelming symptoms due to life circumstances and is offered as an alternative to our local hospital emergency rooms. The Living Room is housed within the Ben Gordon Center near Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb. Any individual 18 years and older, who is a DeKalb County resident, may utilize these services free of cost and without being a registered client.

Northwestern Medicine Behavioral Health Services Sycamore, an outpatient department of Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital, offers personalized care to help patients with mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders and bipolar disorder. The newly expanded Sycamore clinic is a comfortable and private space, with expanded services and appointment availability.
